Photograph Names: The Power of a Good Name for your Photograph
Do you struggle with words to use in your image titles? The majority of the time I do, sometimes the words come easy other times they can be very elusive.
A great title will help you support the story in the photograph that you see, the reason why the scene captured your heart.
A title or name can make or break a photograph. A great title can attract attention and give your photograph a boost, while a poor title will cause it to be overlooked.
I have produced a Free Ebook “My List Of Image Titles”. It is a list of photograph names I have used in my creative photography works that I hope will inspire you to create the perfect title for your photographs.

CHOOSING A GOOD NAME FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS:
So, how do you choose the perfect title for your photographs? Here are a few things to consider.
First, think about what makes your photograph unique. What is it about your image that will grab someone’s attention? Is it the composition? The light? The subject matter? Once you’ve identified what sets your photograph apart, you can use that information to create an eye-catching title.
Next, think about your audience. Who are you trying to reach with your photograph? What kind of language will they respond to? If you’re selling your work to a commercial client, for instance, you’ll want to use language that is direct and to the point. But if you’re entering your work into a fine art competition, you might want something more creative or evocative.
Lastly, keep it short and sweet. A long, convoluted title will only serve to confuse viewers and take away from the impact of your image. Keep your titles simple and easy to understand.
LET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES FIRSTLY AND THEN THE TITLE BECOMES A SUPPORTING ROLE IN THE STORY.
Remember, a great title can make all the difference in the success of your photographs. So take the time to crafting something that is both attention-grabbing and reflective of the content of your image. With a little thought and creativity, you’re sure to come up with something great!
