Ideas for Photography Names

So, how do you choose the perfect title for your photographs? Here are a few things to consider. First of all think about what makes your photograph unique and interesting.  

Is it just composition or lighting that sets it apart from other images out there in this world—maybe even something more than these two factors could be at play here (like an awesome subject)?

Next ask yourself who is viewing your photograph?  Is it for social media engagement, are you putting it up for sale or it is for photography competition?

You can’t underestimate the power of a great title. It’s not just about helping you identify what is in your photo and your relationship to your work, but also helps form an emotional connection with whatever story it is telling and gives credibility to that feeling. 

The title can help draw attention to the story in a photograph, which helps the viewer understand why it has captured our hearts. 

The struggle for words is real though!  I can often come up with ideas for photograph names quickly, other times it can take days.  Over the years I have compiled a list of photograph names I have used and I am happy to share them with you in the way of an Ebook.
