I recently received my accreditation in fine art floral photography from Master Photographers International (MPI). This is a huge accomplishment and one that I am incredibly proud of. In this post, I’ll be giving an overview of the process I went through to receive my accreditation and what it means for me as a photographer.
The Accreditation Process
The accreditation process was long but ultimately very rewarding. To become accredited, photographers must submit a portfolio of ten images to MPI for review. All of the images must reflect the photographer’s skill level and creativity in capturing fine art floral photography.
Once submitted, the portfolio is reviewed by a panel of professional photographers who assess each image based on its technical quality and creative merit. I’m not going to lie, 3 of my ten images scored just below 80, so I was given the chance to resubmit 3 replacement images. All ten images must score above 80. My final score range was between 81 to 95.
This accreditation gives me an immense sense of pride knowing that my work has been recognized by some of the top professionals in your industry! Check out their website, the images will blow you away.
Let’s get this creativity started!
